Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the LoJoRi mobile application and related public websites (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

LoJoRi is the trade name of a sole proprietorship operated by Daan Rietveld, registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce under number 94246378, with its registered business address at Oudstraat 6, 3404 HC IJsselstein, The Netherlands.

The contracting operator of the Service is Daan Rietveld, trading as LoJoRi.

2. Eligibility and account responsibility

• You must be legally able to enter this agreement.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity under your account.
• Provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably up to date.

3. What LoJoRi is

LoJoRi is a journaling, analysis, and decision-support product. It helps you record and review trading activity and related context.

LoJoRi is not:

• a broker, exchange, custodian, or payment institution;
• a service that executes trades on your behalf;
• a source of trading signals or price predictions;
• a guarantee of profits or performance;
• individualized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

You remain solely responsible for your trading decisions and for complying with laws and platform rules that apply to you.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• misuse the Service or attempt unauthorized access;
• interfere with security, authentication, or deletion controls;
• upload unlawful content or content you do not have rights to use;
• reverse engineer the Service except where mandatory law permits;
• use the Service to provide regulated advice if you are not authorized to do so.

5. User content

You retain rights in content you submit (such as journal notes and profile information). You grant LoJoRi a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you. You are responsible for the content you store.

6. Service availability

The Service may change, be interrupted, or be unavailable. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Termination and account deletion

You may stop using the Service and may delete your account in the app (authenticated deletion) or request deletion via the public delete-account process, which requires verification before any admin deletion. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or present security risk.

8. Intellectual property

LoJoRi branding, software, and site content are owned by the operator of LoJoRi or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the Service to you.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except where such disclaimers are not allowed.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LoJoRi and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profits damages, or for trading losses arising from decisions you make. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law.

11. Privacy

Processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply under the laws of your country of residence.

If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the competent courts of your country of residence. These Terms do not require you to bring consumer claims exclusively before a Dutch court where mandatory law gives you that right.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Material changes should be reflected on this page with an updated date.
